As many of you know, Ari summited Mt. Rainier last year. He loved the experience so much that he went on another expedition to climb Mt. Baker, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Adams. Ari headed west for his 10 day adventure in Washington and Oregon just as my amazing aunt and cousin came east to Minnesota for a visit.
While Ari was away I was able to spend time talking, eating, laughing, and sewing with my family. It was great to have the extra sets of hands to help with the girls. Especially for that trip to the ER after Evelyn fell and split her cheek open on the corner of a chair. Ugh! Three stitches later and she was as good as new.
Ari had a great time out West with the guys. The trip was very successful and they were able to summit Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood. Unfortunately, a white out 600 feet from the top kept them from summiting Mt. Adams. The guys did awesome and we are happy they are home safe and sound.
