Summer is FINALLY here!

As many of you know or experienced, Minnesota (and many other states) had the longest winter EVER! It was awful. Seriously. The snow and cold lasted forever. Seriously. It was awful. Did I mention it was awful.

We had major cabin fever. The kids were going stir crazy. When signs of summer finally came (this past weekend) it was difficult to actually believe it and let it sink in. I still can't believe it to be true. I was preparing myself for winter year round...Luckily the snow has finally melted and we have temperatures in the 70s. Yay! So outside we went and spent most of the day. Here are a few pictures of the girls getting reacquainted with the outdoors.

12 months

Look who is ONE! We think this little one year old is pretty special. In a blink of an eye she has changed from a baby to a toddler. Happy Birthday baby little girl!!

Eleanor weighs 20 pounds 6 ounces and is 31 inches long. Exactly the same size as her big sister at this age.

At 12 months old, Eleanor...

takes a step or two independently.

says dada and hi.

stands independently for quite some time.

loves playing outside and going on walks.

eats nearly everything that is offered to her but LOVES yogurt.

sleeps 12 hours at night and 2 short naps during the day.

enjoys bath time.

has enough hair for hair clips, but dislikes wearing them.

Annual Olson Womens' Weekend

We had a great time in Brainerd/Hawaii with the Olson women! What a wonderful group of ladies to be with. Evelyn had an awesome time with her grandma, aunties, and cousins. She couldn't get enough of all the swimming and playing games with the big girls.
