19 months, 1 week, and 2 days

Summer with Evelyn is so much fun. We spend lots of time outside playing with water, buckets, rocks, toy trucks, and balls. We are enjoying our Burley bike trailer and it is our main mode of transportation to and from several nearby playgrounds. She loves exploring the playground, especially the slides. We spend as much time as we can outside, and if we are inside we are constantly hearing Evelyn chant "outside, outside" and she will bring us both her shoes and ours. :)

It has been a while since I have given a formal update on what Evelyn has been up to lately. So here goes. She weighed 22 pounds, 2 ounces at 18 months and was 33 inches tall.

At 19 months old, Evelyn...

says 100+ words and repeats nearly everything we say.
is learning her ABC's and now says "ABCDEFG" fairly clearly.
says a few recognized words in Spanish (hola, adios, naranja, and agua).
says uno, dos, tres when counting to 3.
has learned possession and often says "Mommy's shoes" or "Daddy's agua."
is using sign language less often.
loves bikes rides in the Burley...especially when the destination is a playground.
is learning to pee on the potty and tells us when she is dirty.
undresses herself without assistance.
runs and climbs like a champ...has even climbed out of her crib once.
feeds herself using a fork or a spoon.
eats well and is not particularly picky.
has graduated to the toddler room at daycare.
enjoys visiting the animals at the zoo.
loves to dance and sing.
is obsessed with babies...baby dolls and infants.
