We are so blessed to welcome
Evelyn Elisabeth into our family on December 1st, 2009. We had been eagerly awaiting Evelyn's arrival for months. Her expected arrival was November 24th, 2009. So when her due date came and went, we had to muster up every ounce of patience we had. The final weeks of the pregnancy showed little progression of impending delivery and so induction was scheduled for 41 weeks. On November 30th we checked into the hospital to start the process. By the next morning it was looking like we would be having a baby later that day. However, to our surprise, that afternoon it was determined that the baby was breech. At 3:44pm, Evelyn was born via c-section. She came out crying, vigorous, and healthy at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 21 inches long.
