7 months

Slow down Eleanor...we are having so much fun with you as a baby. We don't dare blink in fear that we will miss something. 

Eleanor keeps growing, changing and meeting new milestones. We are having a blast celebrating each day with her. Here is the latest...

At 7 months, Eleanor...
crawls backwards on all fours.
enjoys trying little bites of table foods (she loves couscous).
pulls hair - Mommy's, Evelyn's and even her own!
is still teething but no teeth yet.
squeals with excitement.
is practicing her 'd' and 'b' sounds.
loves to jump and jump and jump.
gives hugs and open mouth kisses.

Oldemor

Eleanor, my mom, and I flew out to Olympia Washington to surprise Eleanor's oldemor (great grandmother) Felicie. After having hip surgery in October, we thought Oldemor might enjoy having us come and visit. She was definitely surprised when we came waltzing into the nursing home. She loved meeting Eleanor for the first time, exclaiming with tears in her eyes that "babies are the best medicine." 

The Cove

We spent a long weekend up at Cove Pointe Lodge with Ari's family in late October. Everyone had a great time!
