4 months

Eleanor has reminded me how much I enjoy 4 month olds... so happy, engaging, smiley, interactive, giggly, playful and simply adorable. Every month gets more and more fun (Ari definitely agrees to that as well). She brings us so much joy and happiness. She weighs 14 pounds, 12 ounces and is 25 inches long. She has definitely put on some cute baby rolls and chubby cheeks that are so very kissable. 

At 4 months old, Eleanor...

has big dark blue eyes.

is in day care 4 days per week (her mommy misses her so much).

grabs toys and puts them in her mouth.

sucks on her fingers.

sleeps 5-7 hour stretches at night, usually waking once to eat.

wakes up happy, talking to herself in her crib.

enjoys hearing her voice.

rolls from side to side, but not quite rolling over yet.

loves to snuggle with soft blankets next to her cheek.

The evening was perfect...the heat wave had finally broken, the light was sweet, the children were fed and happy, and so I decided to get them dressed in their Sunday best for a quick photo shoot.

I don't know how the professionals do it... because I sure had a challenge getting both kids to look at the camera and sit still. As you can see, Evelyn was so excited to hold her sister that she giggled the entire time, which I must say was simply adorable. Right as I tried to get a few shots of Evelyn and Eleanor alone, Evelyn decided to run around the yard and Eleanor cried. Oh well...what I did get (after MANY out takes and blurry photos) were a few candid shots of the girls that are lovely. Enjoy!
