Life is good

It doesn't get better than this...
Sleeping in until 8:30am.
Waffles for breakfast.
Temperatures in the 70s and clear skies.
Outing to Minnehaha Falls with Libby and Eli.
Fall colors beginning to show their beauty.
Cooperative toddler for a quick photo shoot.
Lunch out on the patio at Sea Salt.
Quick walk along the creek.
Ice cream!
2 hour nap for Evelyn. 1 hour nap for Mommy.
Evening of playing with baby dolls, reading books, and jumping on the bed.
Life is good.

21 months

Evelyn is a big girl (25 lbs.) with lots to see and lots to say...

She is beginning to talk in 2-3 word sentences. Her favorite phrases include...
"Sit down mommy/daddy"
"I want it/that"
"Go get it"
"Thank you...you're welcome"
"Lay down mommy/daddy"
"I miss you Riley"
"Go that way"
"Read book please"
"Baby go night night"
"I do it"

She loves to sing. Her favorite songs are "the wheels on the bus," "twinkle twinkle little star," and "the birthday song."  We can't get enough of her sweet voice. She will often talk or sing the entire ride home from daycare.

Evelyn is learning her colors, numbers, and ABCs. She enjoys coloring with crayons and creating art projects at school.

She loves playing with her friends and often asks about Eli, Whit, Henry, Max, Lucy, and Eva.

Evelyn is particular about what she wears and often picks out interesting outfits. If she had it her way, she would wear tights every day.  She also loves wearing the color green and anything with "sparkles."
